Byadgi chilli - Authentic Indian heirloom seeds

Byadgi Chilli is also known as ‘dabbii Chilli’. It was named after the town of Byadagi in the Haveri district of Karnataka.

It is a famous Indian chilli and mainly grown in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Byadgi grows well in a pot to about 60 cm high and it would grow bigger, if you plant it in the ground. The pods are about 10-12 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. They go from green through brown to a rich deep red, when they are fully mature.

The Byadgi has great flavour with medium heat. One of the best chillies for some non extreme Indian cooking.
